Kash's rendezvous with another Earth man from the twenty-first century goes awry when he discovers that the guy provided his nemesis an opportunity for revenge. A wild race to leave the Teegarden system ends up putting the crew of the Mavdaios right back where they started, crashed on a planet's surface.
Survival once again becomes the priority as the crew dreams of reuniting with civilization. Two alien females want to start a family while the dragons get a taste of freedom. Their chance of rescue comes from yet another intelligent species with their own shipping business.
