Wishing for Rainbows

When Ursula Proctor is given an ultimatum by her father to find a husband or he will find one for her, she knows it will not be easy, not least because she has had a crush on Trenton Calderhill for as long as she can remember. However, when she attempts to put her youthful fantasies aside and focus on her own future, it quickly becomes evident that she is completely unprepared for life in London.

When Trenton learns that Ursula has gone to London in search for a husband, he knows he has to save her from the scheming machinations of the legions of lecherous rogues and insipid fops who prowl the ballrooms of the ton. Unfortunately, keeping an eye on her proves to be difficult, especially when it quickly becomes obvious that she is determined to avoid him at all costs. Unfortunately, when she captures the attention of a rather disreputable rogue, Trenton has to take drastic action to ensure that his future with Ursula is secure. However, can he persuade Ursula to marry him, or will her father follow through with his threat and force Ursula into matrimony to someone else first?
